Last night, Uncle Scott had his first ever babysitting duty while Daddy and I went to our church group. I prayed that this would go smoothly and without a hitch and it did! Uncle Scott made it out alive, without any scars! Yahoo! Next time we'll see if Uncle Scott can handle bedtime. :)
So attached when Uncle Scott went to the bathroom, Bug went searching for him.
Someone's about to get a kiss!
Lucky man.
That curly mop on her head is her real hair. It's insane how the curls keep getting tighter and tighter!
Bug even got to practice her photography skills!
After Uncle Scott left, Mommy and Daddy were bombarded with kisses and hugs for about half an hour from a Bug that obviously missed us. We loved every minute of it!
Thank you, Uncle Scott for babysitting while Mommy and Daddy got some quality time to refresh themselves at their church group. We are so blessed to have you around!
Church group was amazing, as always. It's a great time for the hubs and I to gather ourselves together and to re-charge for another week, hopefully serving as a great example to Bug of what working as one, with Christ at the center, is like. We have some pretty amazing friends that help us along the way and serve as a living example of Christ to us and that remind us that we are not alone in our journey. God is so good and we are so blessed.
Because of the day-to-day activities, we often fail to recognize that we are never alone. Walking back to our car around 7:30pm, I looked up and saw this. Darkness all around and light still shining around and highlighting the cross.
What an awesome reminder that we are never alone in our journey and aside from our family and friends, Christ is always with us.
God Bless,
Kat
