The thing about being pregnant that used to make me nervous was the protruding belly button. I realize that some people (even pre-pregnancy) have protruding belly buttons. I for one, have never really given them a second look (or thought)...until I saw my other mommy friends' tummies and how much that button can really come out. So of course when I got pregnant, as superficial as this may sound, that was my very first worry. (It's shameful, but I'll admit it.) During the first trimester and a half, I had forgotten about this fear until one of my girlfriends who is also expecting hit week 20-something. She briefly mentioned her belly button leaving her.
