After school, Bug is busy. She does a ton of stuff. Check it out.
Sometimes we get clingy because we haven't seen Mommy all day so we hang on her until Daddy comes home. Then she's quickly traded in for the hipper, cooler, easy going parent.
We manage to get in a couple diaper changes (if we're lucky), that's accompanied by some shrieks, screams, and arms and legs being violently thrown in all directions.
We make sure all toys are greeted appropriately.
We put the toys to bed...even though we won't go ourselves.
We ride our YBike.
If we're lucky, on some days Uncle Kris arrives to save Mommy from the clingy-ness so she can cook...or just not have a toddler hanging onto her leg.
We demolish all toys, books, things. Period. What? You guys don't put your swing on your rocking chair to keep it away from your toddler who won't stop stepping and jumping in it?
We reminisce of the days when Bug used to lay in her crib and her mobile was enough entertainment and sometimes even caused over-stimulation. Keep dreamin', Mommy.
We make sure McKayla knows she is not forgotten. (Even if that means a certain Bug chases her around the house.)
We watch some Sesame Street.
Don't mind the messy face. It wasn't worth the battle to get this great photo. TRUST ME. She's such a beauty, huh?
That all happens after school. Are you tired yet?
God Bless,
Kat
