This week (well, yesterday), Wyatt got called in to do his American duty- jury duty. As we left the house today, he asked me for a pad of paper. Here's how the conversation went... Wyatt: "Babe, where's the pad of paper?" Me: "In the box, why?" Wyatt: "Well, I need something to take notes on." Me: "Did they ask you to take a pad of paper? Don't they provide that for you?" Wyatt: "I don't know, but I wanna be prepared." Before Wyatt even got to the court house the other day, I knew that he would be chosen. How could he not be? He's the PERFECT candidate for a jury. I'm sure he thought of a million ways he could get out of it...a million reasons why he just couldn't serve on a jury- his wife is pregnant- NO, he needs to work- NO, there's not much work at work....nope, nada...no reasons.
