D. Family Coffee Break

Uuuuuugh! I picked up Bug from day care yesterday and this is the note I received. Is this falling ever going to end?  Miss Nona had a conversation with me about how Bug LOVES to run around...ALL DAY.  Ironically, Bug hit her head in the same exact spot she hit it at Mama's house .  So as that previous bruise was fading away, Bug managed to make it even bigger.   The bad news is that it actually looks worse than the pictures show. Tangent:  How cute is this outfit?!?!?! What else would make a bruised up baby feel better, but a cell phone? Look at those legs!  Someone has inherited her father's inquisitive mind and building skills. Totally fell over.  What a hulk, huh?!?! She got it to stay! :) What am I going to do? Dear Bug, I will probably tell you this a million and one times in your life (and if I don't, I'm praying about it), please be safe .  I love you way too much to ...

It started here so if you steal it, please give me some credit.  I'd like to think I'm a thankful person.  Do I always say it?  I'm going to go with a big FAT no.  Should I?  Sure.  So, I am starting my Thankful Tuesdays.  This "thanks" is not necessarily to the man upstairs.  I give Him praise every single day.  Thankful Tuesdays are my thanks to the many people in my life that I may miss thanking every so often, but do truly deserve it for all they do for my family.  I hope that I manage to thank everyone in my life on one Tuesday or another.  Today, I'm thankful for meeting this guy. Thanks for putting up with my attitude, for always making me smile, always making me feel like your #1 when I'm not really acting like it, and for always, always, ALWAYS supporting me.  My life has been nothing, but great things since you've come along.  (Oh yeah.  Thanks for giving me a little Bug too.  She's awesome.) ...

We had another fun and busy weekend!  On Friday, Daddy had the day off and came to Mommy's work to eat lunch!  I love day dates!  Here's Daddy reading the menu.  I didn't know choosing a burger could be so complicated. Mmmm!  If you've never been, you should go to  The Counter .  Now. That night my girlfriend gave birth to her baby boy, baby G!  So on Saturday morning we decided to meet him!  Baby G came into this world with almost the exact same stats as Bug!   Baby G's height:  19.5 inches (0.5 inches less than Bug!) Weight: 8.3 lbs. (1 ounce more than Bug!) Someone sat nicely in the corner of the hospital room while Mommy got acquainted with baby G.  What a good girl.  Bug and her sunglasses.  All divas need them...even in a hospital room.
