Miss [Mini] Independent

Someone is getting pretty good at using her spork.  You know- a spoon and a fork combo?  I remember them from elementary school so I'm assuming that since Bug knows how to use it, that she's ready for school?  Bad association?  Too soon?  Perhaps.  However, she sure is getting independent in more ways than one. She is so proud of herself.  This morning she finished an entire meal using her spork all by herself! In other news... ...someone's begun to explore (and memorize) books! Sometimes she even uses them to stand on.  :/ Independence is slowly killing Mommy.  Dramatic?  Maybe. God Bless, Kat

They're People Too.

I love the holidays and I love my family.  This Christmas, we decided to take some family photos.  As our family grows, it's nice to capture some shots with the kiddos.  Check it out! Uncle Kris has the other photos of the entire family because aside from myself, he was the other photographer for the day. Uncle Kyle and Lo.  She is thrilled.  :/ Myranda and Madysen.  Yup.  It was bright out.  Yup.  I made them look right up into the sky.  Yup.  That's gum in Mady's mouth. Sisters.  I will say from personal experience that nothing beats having a sister.  Nothing. Mama and Mamang. Mamang with 5 of her 17 great grandch...

Christmas Highlights III

Finally!  Merry Christmas!  :) Thanks to Bug tiring herself out dancing for everyone the night before, she slept in.  We had to be back at Mama's and Papa's again to celebrate some more, so we gave Bug a wake up call.  She is her father's daughter. I could be mistaken, but this does not look like a Christmas face.  I'm going to give it to you because you might not know it's Christmas, but next year better be different. GIIIIIIFFFFTTTSS! Farm puzzle from Daddy and Mommy. She loves her kitty pajamas from Nama. New Jingle book from Mommy and Daddy! She loves hearing Grandma read her new electronic Rudolph book! A large moo-cow from Daddy and Mommy! Everyone get in the picture! Everyone gets a hug and a kiss! Thanks, Nama for our monogrammed towels that match our bathroom so well!  LOVE. New book about going to the doctor's office from Mommy and Daddy.  Obviously t...
