Happy 13 months (Can you believe it!?!?) to our little Bug!
This is the "Uh-oh" face...that we see all too often.
We have a very mobile Bug these days so taking this month's photos was a challenge.
Wake-up call!
Such a cutie! Thank you, Lolo Andy for the headband you gave me for my birthday!
Maybe we'll get a better pic of her walking. FAIL.
Between 12-13 months, Bug learned how to put things back where they belong. I attribute this to day care because when I was teaching her, I failed miserably. I just help her practice. :) Just because she knows how to put things back doesn't mean she doesn't take everything out and it also doesn't mean she wants to put things back either. It's a hit or miss, as is anything with a one year old/child/baby/teen/adult. :) Bug still loves her toys more than her books and she's still dancing away to every beat she hears. I'm pretty sure she's got some rhythm, all inherited from Daddy and TaTa. I know I can't move the way she can! She's also learning how to make everything an instrument.
I pray for any door stopper she encounters.
Bug is full of laughs these days and I just cannot stand it. She's so funny and I love the way she lights up when Daddy comes home and she runs right to him. I'll save that video for another blog post. :P She's also developed a "shyness" about her. Now, it's a shyness, not shy. Ha. When she sees people, she plays shy until she can get a laugh or an "aaaaw" out of them. Wait. Is that what she's doing? She's playing people? She has got so much charm and is such a ham! The other day Daddy and Bug visited my parents' neighbors before bed, for what I thought would be a quick visit. An HOUR later, I was on FB (of course) and there was my daughter. The neighbors had posted pictures of her laughing up a storm! I cannot and should not be shocked.
She is learning to share more each day, even though most times she just teases people. :/ (We're still working on it.) Another thing Bug loves these days is taking care of babies. Because of baby Lo, Bug has gained a new appreciation for little babies. When I pick her up from school, she is always rocking a baby in a swing, or standing around the teachers holding the little ones and offering blankets and kissing them. She is going to make a great big sister soon. Time out. Okay, so not "soon, soon", but soon like in the future soon. Ha. I'm sure Daddy just fell out of his chair reading this. :)

She's growing and developing so much and so quickly. I can't keep track of it all. I love this kid and she makes me laugh so much. We are so blessed. Is it weird that she can make me laugh more than most people? Seriously. Too funny.
God Bless,
Kat
What?!?! she makes you laugh more than me?
