As of last Thursday, this child has hit a pretty sour stage. (No, he/she is not acting up, but rather, has reached a new stage in produce.) Our Dressler baby-to-be is now the size of a lemon...
...with a steady heartbeat and allowing this Mommy-to-be to have some long-awaited fun at my cousin's wedding this weekend! Thanks to this little sour-puss, I was able to dance the night away, without falling asleep at the usual 8:30pm.
On another note, I've also discovered I now dislike (and almost hate) the following things that I used to love...pre-pregnancy):
-chicken
-eggs
-crust on my bread
YES, it's pretty amazing to believe that I now hate eggs, considering how much I loved them before. It's also pretty amazing how much I love red meat now that I've completely eliminated chicken from my diet. (Don't worry, I've checked with the doctor. She said that's okay because I will probably change my diet again in a month and my body is probably just craving the iron.) Every meal is now trial and error, discovering all the new things I apparently love and hate.
Maybe this kid is pretty sour after all. :)
As for Daddy-to-be, well, he's had a pretty rough week, moving boxes to the new place. Thankfully, we officially finish the move tonight and we can finally settle into our new place. As of now, the baby's room looks like a massive storage bin. (Can't wait for Mama and Grandma Conner to come by to work their magic and turn it into a real nursery!)
God Bless,
Kat
