...getting excited?!?!?!
WE ARE!
(I realize that was lame, but it was the only thing I could think of for a title for this blog that relates to the orange below.)
15 weeks and Dressler baby-to-be is the size of an orange. It sure feels like we're making progress! According to the baby-know-it-all newsletters I receive, the baby's ears are now in place and this kid can finally hear sounds. So feel free to speak to my tummy whenever you see me. I want this kid to be familiar with all of your voices! :) As I left for work today, Wyatt whispered to my tummy "goodbye". (Yes, whispered.) Between Wyatt, my mom, and my sister, they've gotta get a tad bit louder to compete with the rest of us loud people who will be talking to this kid. :P
Now that we've moved into a place that officially has a "baby's room", we're trying to "train" the cat (if it's even possible) to stay away from there. As you can imagine, she's not taking it too well and when we grab boxes from the baby's room (a.k.a. STORAGE for now room) she runs in, scopes the place out, puts her fur on everything, and runs out. What a pill! I know she does this just to make me mad. (She's definitely my daughter.) Even before we found out we were pregnant, McKayla would put her paw on my belly when I was on the bed. I think somehow she knew there was a baby coming. Days after first doing that, she became really close to Wyatt. I guess she was just stepping out of the way for the baby. :( Every once in awhile we remind her that we'd never forget our "first born". :)
God Bless,
Kat

HAHAHA! Silly Kitty! Anytime my cat sucks up to Lukas, I know she wants something.
