Between weeks 14 and 15, my "maybe bump" has transformed into a real bump. Now that we're 16 weeks and one day, this kid's getting a little bit bigger...
This picture was taken today. (Yes, I'm at work, YES, I've now moved onto sneakers every single day and YES, we have lime green walls in my office.)
I've also begun feeling lots of butterflies in my tummy (especially when I lay on my left side, which ironically, is the side I sleep on these days) and I'm almost sure this unfamiliar feeling is the baby. I'm anxious and excited about finally being able to feel this little baby kick. Although it's not quite a kicking feeling just yet, these butterflies are providing A LOT of excitement!
Reminder: March 16th we find out the sex of the baby (hopefully). So let us know what you think it's going to be and we'll see who gets it right! (Disclaimer: The only prize you will win are bragging rights for, well...being right. And if you're anything like me, that's the best prize of all.)
God Bless,
Kat
You'll be happy to hear that I've now begun taking "pregnant" shots of my belly. The tummy is still looking slighty abnormal and not-so-pregnant, but it's there. This shot was taken at week 15, the first day I discovered the rise of the overnight bump. (Yes, my face is really that chubby, pregnant or not.)
Okay, so I'm wearing black and my stomach isn't showing. I just can't get myself to show my stomach completely in this "in between" phase. It's so strange looking to me. Maybe by month 9 we'll get a real shot. :)

It's going to be a boy! I say that cause you can already tell you're pregnant this soon...! He's a natural leader. ;)
