"He's never coming back."

You see, we have this daughter...

She is happy, sad, loving, anxious, sensitive, dramatic, charismatic, inquisitive, and witty-- all rolled into one.  Honestly, sometimes I feel like she feels all these motions at one time and if not at one time, every other minute is a new emotion.  It's crazy in our house, but we can say this much- we have yet to experience a boring day with this little Buggy.
Bug and Tinkerbell- two peas in a pod.
We're not sure what Mom and Dad did to deserve such a tantrum after her bath.  Recently, we've had a ton of difficulty getting this kid into clothes.  I mean...we've always had this problem, but it's worse now.  Really!
Ugh!  The covering of the eyes?  Really?!?!  Why at 8:30p.m.?  WHY?

Like I said- a new emotion expressed every other minute.  Truth.

Bug's imagination is out of control.  Remember that one time she told her teachers, the school directors, and classmates I was pregnant so the entire school was congratulating me when I came to pick her up?  Well, this morning, while dropping her off at school (something Dad usually does), one of Bug's teachers and I had a conversation that went something like this...

Teacher:  "Buggy's mommy, can I talk to you for a second?"
Me:  [Holding my breath.]  What did she do now?
Teacher:  "I was just making sure everything was okay because yesterday Bug told me that you took her to school and that she was sad because her dad left and is never coming back."
Me:  "WHAT?!?!?!"  [Deep breadth.]  "No, no, NO...everything is fine.  He just had to go into work early the last couple of days so I had to take her to school instead.  He picked her up yesterday."
Teacher:  "Oh, okay.  I was just making sure because she kept telling me and I started to worry that something happened."

WOW.  This girl is meant to be a fictional writer. Everyday is a new story.

1- I'm glad the teacher was concerned because if something was wrong, they would need to watch Bug's behavior.
2- I'm glad Bug has such a vivid imagination.  When telling my sister this story she responded with, "She's Kathleen reincarnated...except white."  Truth.

*Random:  Bug has been watching Lilo & Stitch.  There's a scene where Stitch first comes home with Lilo and pulls a picture of Lilo's family from under Lilo's pillow.  Lilo quickly snatches the picture back and says, "Don't ever touch this!"  Every so often, when McKayla's around, I'll hear Bug yelling, "McKayla!  Don't EVER touch this!  You hear me?  Don't EVER touch this!"  I've stopped showing her this movie. Haha.

God Bless,
Kat
