October has been VERY busy. So here are some pictures, accompanied by some short stories, Facebook statuses, and videos about Buggy.
As you all know, it was Daddy and Uncle Scott's birthday recently. We had our annual birthday dinner with just Daddy and Uncle Scott.

Singing happy birthday to Daddy and Uncle Scott...kind of.
The following evening, Daddy and Mommy had Auntie Sam babysit and we were off to dinner and a movie! No love for Auntie Sam. :(
Those are our feet, in reclining chairs and we didn't even fall asleep!
Then on Sunday we had some quality time with Lo and Co. :)
Other events in October:
*The pumpkin patch with good ol' C and his family!*
Thanks to C's baby bro C2, Bug is now searching for her baby brother...under the kitchen table, in the closet, etc.
She loves it, I swear.
Bus driver.
*Potty training:
It's been fabulous! Someone is entering her 4th week in panties, accident-free...minus that one time she told Dad and he didn't take her so she started to pee. That was definitely not her fault. Parental FAIL. We'll do better, I promise. Accident-free days have been rewarded with ice cream.*
That one time Auntie Sam came with us to get ice cream.
*Words, words, words:
Our once little baby is now having conversations and learning so much! Here come the Facebook status updates:
Me: "Bug, what do you want for lunch?"
Bug: "Fried rice and Starbucks."
Bug: "Fried rice and Starbucks."
(Totally my kid.)
Bug is great at memorization. For example...today as I was refilling her snack container with Cheerios...
Bug: "Mom. That is my Cheerios. Don't ever touch it." No more Lilo & Stitch in our house...ever. Last night Bug asked me if she could see Lilo. I told her that Lilo went on vacation.

Bug: "No way. She's in the TV."
Too smart. Then I told her that the movie was broken.
Bug muttering as she walked to her room: "We got to fix it. Where's my tools?"
*Clothes:
Bug has almost skipped size 2T entirely. How does that happen? When
Bug was about 3 months old Auntie Catherine gave me three large bags of
old and new clothes from her 3 girls, mostly in size 2-5T. At 3 months
old the day seemed so far away when Bug would be able to use those
clothes. So the bags sat in the back of the closet.
The other day I organized Bug's closet-- packed up anything she had outgrown to give to Lo. I also made a gigantic list of new clothes she would need for fall/winter and dreaded the bill for having to change out her entire wardrobe. Then I found the bag of clothes from Auntie Catherine, hidden deep in the closet. I sorted through them and Bug now has half of the wardrobe I listed out. It also hit me that we finally made it to this age where she can fit in these clothes. ::sigh::

Sometimes I wish time would slow down a bit. Thankful to Auntie Catherine for saving all those clothes! This buys mommy some shopping time and money!
Anyway, that's about it for now. Happy October! I'm exhausted!
*Bonus video of Bug and her friends at the park a few months back...when Bug's legs couldn't keep up.
God Bless,
Kat
