We had a very, VERY busy weekend. I know I say that all the time (and it's the truth!), but this time, I mean it. Check out the fun!
Friday after school someone made a bit of a mess.
Then we went to dinner with the Asian fam. We miss them. It's hard to get out after 8pm since Bug goes to bed around that time. On Friday, however, she was a trooper. She took a 30 minute nap before our 7:30pm dinner, let Mommy and Daddy eat a meal without screaming, then she saved enough energy (and room in her tummy for frozen yogurt). By the time we got to the car, it was 10pm. We're awful parents. Judge us. Or don't and just be happy we made it through the night without a tantrum in public.
Mommy's first ever Pinkberry! Mmmm...
Auntie Nara and Uncle Phil. Love this moment.
On Saturday morning we headed to San Diego for the day to see Buggy's great grandparents. Buggy is a seasoned traveler so 2.5-3 hours to SD was no problem at all! She stayed awake and looked around for one hour, slept for one hour and sang for the remainder of the time. :)
Nothing like coloring with your great grandmother. :) Precious.
Papa was in charge of food and we got all things fried- chicken, shrimp, and rice! Heart attack, anyone? Mmm...
Papang's new ride. Stylin'.
We even had time for games!
She's cute, right?
After all that hiding and seeking (and counting!), we got in the car to head home and she slept the first hour or so and sat quietly in the back seat the rest of the way home. :) She was exhausted. When we got home, we made a stop at Home Goods to get someone a new toy bin. All the mess on the left is now condensed to one large, polka dot toy bin.
On Sunday, someone refused to wake up.
8am
9am. Wake up! Mommy wants to play!
10a. By this point I reverted back to new mommy status and thought she was ill and I should take her to the emergency room. Oh, how I remember those new mommy days and fears! Not that I'm a pro, but now something drastic would have to happen for me to rush her to the emergency room.
10:15am (rolled over)
10:45am. Finally awake. What can I say? She was tired from partying on Friday night and all that coloring and hide and seek can really wear a person down!
Then we met up for lunch with Lo (and her parents). These two are A-DOR-A-BLE.
Lo loving on Ate Bug and Bug not returning any love because Lo's got her baby hands on her big girl book.
Mommy and Lo.
Ninong and Lo with a stinky poopy.
Cutest face EVER!
So we were busy.
After lunch Bug took another hour nap! You swear her thousand hour sleep the night before wasn't enough. Wow. I was jealous.
God Bless,
Kat
