Shoes and a few falls

Remember our shoe issue with Bug?  How we just could not find a great pair of shoes that allowed for support while learning to walk and fit BOTH her feet (since they are different sizes)?  Well, yesterday, while "window shopping" at Nordstrom's, we found some shoes!  (FYI- if you have different size feet, Nordstrom's WILL let you purchase two different sizes.  Good to know!)

Before all the shoe shopping began, we had to re-energize with some fruit!

Bug deciding whether she wanted the Addidas ones.

Then letting us know which shoes she wanted...from the boys section. :/

Picking out which ones she wants to try on first.

Although those cute little Addidas shoes were both Mommy and Daddy's #1 pick, after talking to the salesperson about the amount of support, she recommended we get the flexible Mary Janes, specifically made for new walkers.  Fine.  Salesperson wins...for the first time...ever...because she gave us an honest recommendation...even if that recommendation cost $7 more.  Although the girl in me wanted to buy both shoes, the salesperson also told me not to do that since a baby's feet, on average, grow every three months.  What?  I'm going to change out her shoes every three months?!?!  RIDICULOUS!

Check out Bug in her Mary Janes at the Disney store.
Yeah, we got that Mulan toy, thanks to Lola Rori and Lolo Yeye's gift card!

Then we walked around the mall...a lot.  For the first time ever, Bug's shoes fit, one didn't come off, and they didn't prevent her from walking.  She had a few falls, but overall, a good experience with new shoes!

Yeah, that's her Daddy, laughing at her as she falls.

After running around the mall for a few hours, we headed home and had one tired Bug!

God Bless,
Kat
