Happy Saturday, all! Look at that- I'm blogging on a Saturday. This is rare. We're at my parents' house, which means Mama is busy playing with Bug so I have roughly half an hour to get all this information out to you before I need to actually tend to my own baby. So get ready for lots of pictures.
Bug spent half this week sick, which meant I stayed home from work for three days until she got better. I guess the rule of thumb, according to the doctor, is that you keep a sick baby home one day after they're feeling better. So if she feels good on day two, she stays home on day three and then goes to day care again. That way, you can pretty much bet on it that she won't be spreading her germs. I wanted to avoid sending her back to infect everyone else because a new version of the cold will just come right back at her in a couple weeks. The doctor was right- you can expect your kid to get sick once every other month when they're in day care. She's building her immune system, though...right? ::sigh:: In the meantime, so are we!
Happiest sick girl in the world! You swear she's just fooling us to skip school!
Don't be fooled. This nap only lasted five minutes.
After nap time with Mommy.
Even Mommy was exhausted and falling asleep so we took a quick trip to Starbucks (of course!).
Almost two days of no bath due to a temperature and finally all refreshed!
And you know the extra day the doctor said to keep her at home after she was already better? Here it is.
We took a trip to the park and look how happy she looks! Ha!
I wish I took a video because the entire time the swing was going, she looked like this.
First time in the grocery cart.
THIS is why we use covers. So gross.
LOVES to play Peek-a-Boo in the grocery cart. So in the middle of the aisle, I bent down and hid and she peeked her cute little head over to find me. I did get a couple questioning looks from people shopping, but this face is worth the embarrassment.
Obviously going REALLY fast.
Sometimes you need a hat when you jump.
Guess who's finally sitting? Still a bit rocky, but doin' it.
She can finally catch her butterflies on the wall...kind of.
Like I said...rocky.
Look at those sexy legs!
Rocky.
And THIS is how you play off a fall.
The jumper is still doin' it's job. Thank goodness! This week, I managed to cook four full dinners!
BEST INVESTMENT EVER.
Have a great weekend, folks!
God Bless,
Kat

We miss her! The kids couldn't stop laughing seeing all her pictures.
