As a woman, I recognize that I am the complete opposite of my male counterparts. As girls, we loved and played with barbies, dolls, etc. The older we got, however, barbies became less and less attractive. As an adult, you are your own "My Size Barbie". :) Instead of dressing up a doll about 12 inches tall, you dress yourself up!
Men are different.
Example #1: As boys, they play with Nintendo (did I just age myself?), trucks, etc. As they get older, they seem like they've gotten over these toys, but they don't. When shopping at Toys R Us for a present, Wyatt stopped to tell me "how cool" the boys toys were (We were in the 5 years + section.) and proceeded to stop to fuss and play with each toy he found to be "cool". He's 29 years old.
Example #2: Last Friday night, my sister and I went out with a girlfriend. Because it was a girls night, we left our husbands at my apartment to keep each other company and fend for themselves. When my sister and her husband, Louie came over, they walked through the door, 2 six-packs of beer in hand ("for variety purposes", justified by Louie). My sister and I left for girls night. As we approached midnight and headed home, I told my sister, "The boys must be passed out. It's pretty late." I could not have been farther off. As we entered the apartment, we found this...
I LOVE HAVING MY CAMERA READILY AVAILABLE TO CAPTURE THESE KODAK MOMENTS!
Two
I am so glad these two get along because if I was to spend every Friday night watching Wyatt play video games and drink beer, I'm not sure what I would do!
Men will be boys...right?
God Bless,
Kat
