This by far, has to be one of the busiest Memorial Day Weekends I've ever had. I'm usually pretty set on never leaving town like the rest of the planet. Despite having not gone out of town for the weekend, we still had plenty to do around Los Angeles.

Saturday: McKenzie & Quentin's wedding
My co-worker, McKenzie got married on Saturday at Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. For their wedding ceremony she and her fiance chose to do a Quaker ceremony. Just like yourselves, I was unfamiliar with this as well. A Quaker wedding basically focuses on the love and support not only from the bride and groom, but from the community as well. Instead of having readings, family and friends gather together and offer words of advice and the community reflects on the advice given. It was a beautiful wedding and probably one of my favorites. After the reflections, the bride and groom exchanged their vows. After they were done, a gust of wind blew in the gathering area. There could not have been a more perfect moment that day. I could not describe it any better than God blessing their union.
