Lessons and Vintage

Bug's latest report card.
*Update since this report card was distributed:
Bug now asks "why?"...a lot.

Bug is a big girl now and is learning a ton from her new big kid classroom.  She is currently learning lessons on letting others lead.  With her personality, I'm sure this is a lesson Bug will be learning again and again over her lifetime. What can I say?  Some people are just born leaders.  :)  Speaking from experience (uh-hem), being a leader is great, but a good leader also means giving others the opportunity to take the lead.  I'm almost 30 and have yet to master this.  So as we enter into the so-called "terrible two's," I'm hoping that Bug will learn a lot about sharing her teachers, her friends, and taking turns.  These are big hopes for this phase of her life because let's face it- this me-centric almost two stage can sometimes be a pain.  :P

Anyhoo...here's what we've been up to- vintage style. :)

Hanging out with Uncle Kris, watching the tap class going on at the neighborhood dance studio.

People watching.

I'm pretty sure your father would die if he saw you doing this to the blinds. :/

Waiting for Daddy to come home.

The adopted cat is still around...slowly becoming Bug's little protector at night.  She now sleeps in front of Bug's doorway every night, and sometimes makes her rounds around the crib at night, meowing to let us know via the video monitor that her our little Bug is still sound asleep.  :)  After almost two years, McKayla has grown to accept that Bug is probably not leaving anytime soon. :P

Have a great weekend, everyone!

God Bless,
Kat
