"He's never coming back."

You see, we have this daughter... She is happy, sad, loving, anxious, sensitive, dramatic, charismatic, inquisitive, and witty-- all rolled into one.  Honestly, sometimes I feel like she feels all these motions at one time and if not at one time, every other minute is a new emotion.  It's crazy in our house, but we can say this much- we have yet to experience a boring day with this little Buggy.  Bug and Tinkerbell- two peas in a pod. We're not sure what Mom and Dad did to deserve such a tantrum after her bath.  Recently, we've had a ton of difficulty getting this kid into clothes.  I mean...we've always had this problem, but it's worse now.  Really!  Ugh!  The covering of the eyes?  Really?!?!  Why at 8:30p.m.?  WHY? Like I said- a new emotion expressed every other minute.  Truth. Bug's imagination is out of control.  Remember that one time she told her teachers, the school directors, and classma...

24 hours of Vegas

This weekend Daddy I raced to Vegas to enjoy exactly 24 hours with our friends for Tita Ingrid and Uncle Peter's bachelor/ette festivities!   We dropped off Bug with Mama and Papa on Friday night, stayed over and left at 4:30am and headed to Vegas! The hubs asked me, "When was the last time you saw a sunrise?"   I responded with, "Yesterday.  I'm Mom.  I wake up before the sun and watch it rise from my office window." Watch out, Vegas!  Parents are on the loose! We made it to Vegas in 4 hours flat.  Who does that?!?!  Arrival time:  8:30am. Bride-to-be, Tita Ingrid! Handmade garter for all the ladies, from Amy! Going on 8 or 9 (I can't even remember.  It may be more than that) years of friendship. *I have no pictures of the men because we did not see them very often and when we did, there was just too much going on to take a picture.  Sorry, no pictures of Daddy. The lesson I learned...

Back in the game of life.

What's up?  Long time no see, right?  Sorry about that.  It's been busy.  I'm trying to recover from September, which has fully kicked my butt-- that's how busy we've been.  Anyway, onto the updates! This is our thinking chair (otherwise known as a time out chair in most households).  Last week, on my way out the door for work, I saw that a certain mouse had been bad and was put in the thinking chair by Bug for an all-nighter...blindfolded.  I wonder what Minnie did to deserve that. Ha! Bug trying out all the beds at IKEA...not that we were buying any.  Her crib turns into a toddler bed.  However, we're not planning on moving her into one anytime soon.  The kid has no desire to jump/climb out of her crib and I have no particular desire to stay awake in case Bug crawls out of bed and gets herself into trouble. See, I hear all these stories about parents who have children who run into their rooms when they wake up.  My kid- n...

Videos!

While everyone at the wedding was getting food or eating, Bug was already taking over the dance floor. Things she learned in Yreka God Bless, Kat

A part of this family.

This weekend we made the long drive to Daddy's hometown for his childhood friend's wedding.  Although Bug has been there a few times in her short life, this would be the first time she would remember the people, the sites, and all the activities.  Get ready for a ton of photos!  I hope to overload you with so many photos of the fun that you feel like you were there! :) What road trip to Yreka would be complete without a stopover in Sacramento for some cousin time?!?! Before heading to Yreka the following morning, we had to have a breakfast date with Uncle Kyle. These two love each other so much. Not even one hour after arriving and Nana and Tata already had gifts waiting for Bug.  So spoiled-- as grandchildren should be, right? Attack of the sprinkler. She is so mad. Look at my little soccer star! :)   Our favorite spot- Nana's kitchen floor. Bug's pic of Nana. Begging for grapes. Te...
