Buggy Update: Isn't she lovely?

Isn't she lovely? That's my girl and I am so, so blessed

Spring recap

April, May (and some of June) have come and gone and I missed blogging about it.  So here’s a recap for you of some of the things we’ve been up to: Cousins In March we welcomed cousin, baby AJ.  He’s so cute!  Minus the 80% of the time when he’s attached to Ninang, he’s amazing.  He’s a cutie and we are so in love.  Although we don’t know exactly what Buggy will be like as a big sister just yet, we’re witnessing how sweet she really can be when she’s around baby AJ.  It’s almost amazing how grown up she’s become, how aware she is of how much love a new baby needs.  God willing, she’ll be able to put all the new things she’s learning with baby AJ to good use with a baby sibling of her own one day.    Buggy continues to grow with each experience with Lo.  In the past few months, they’ve gone from cousins to legitimate best friends. Together, they sing, dance, raise havoc, and more recently, put on theatrical shows together...

3.5 year Bug

3.5 year Bug  Stats: Height:  37.5 inches Weight:  30.5 lbs. Overall percentile:  25th (shocked, I know.) Then there's the side of her that wants so badly to grow up... Tell me you're in love with her tummy?!!? Then there was the day where I said, "Ella, let me take a picture of you for pajama day." THIS was her reaction.  Whoa. Two minutes later she gave in. She is so L.A.- 70 degrees and she's in boots, long sleeves, and a fur vest. ...

This year we planned to spend an entire week at a resort for Mama's 60th birthday.  Early in the stay, we learned that Grandma Turner passed away.  So within a day, Papa and Mama were on a flight to North Carolina to be with family for the funeral. Grandma and Grandpa Turner- two of the most loving people you've ever met. They opened up their home and hearts to my Papa when he was young.  With multiple children of their own, they made room for Papa and through them I could see that your heart can never be too full.  One day I hope to have the courage to welcome someone into our family as our own and to love him/her unconditionally.   While Mama and Papa were gone, I got to spend some real quality time with Lo and Bug. When Mama got back from North Carolina, she got to spend two full days with all of children and grandchildren in one place and we definitely made the most of it! Wh...
