Save Her!

No.  She is NOT trying to save baby Lo. Notice her hands placed so "gently" around baby Lo's neck. She is moving so quickly to try and get baby Lo out of her ladybug floaty.  (We're still working on sharing.) God Bless, Kat

She got it from her Dad

What can I say?  She's pretty good.  So good she needs to hold onto something while dancing so she doesn't fall over.  She's a high impact dancer. If you know me, you know she did not get those moves from me.  Actually, I should say... If you know her Dad, you know she got those moves from him. :) She's such a busy body! God Bless, Kat

Solid Investment

It's time to change my yearly planner, which ironically starts in August.  In the middle of transferring important dates, I found my sugar level tracking sheet from pregnancy when I developed gestational diabetes.  I looked it over and it sure looks like I did a great job at keeping baby Bug healthy inside the womb.  I'm really proud of that.    A part of me also did not want to push a 9(+) pound kid through my body. That got us this healthy baby girl... ...who ultimately grew into THIS very healthy hulk of an almost-toddler. I'm pretty sure we got this for the cat.  Eh.  Cat, baby...same difference.  It keeps both of them preoccupied.  That just tells me this was a solid $13 investment.   God Bless, Kat

Three!

In the middle of all the swimming, etc, someone got three new teeth!  Yahoooo!  THREE!  Technically I'd say she has 2.5. :)  This was the only good pic we could get was when she threw herself backwards, upside-down while on Daddy's lap. *No children were harmed in capturing this photo.* God Bless, Kat

Skinny it out.

On swimming day, Uncle Kris took some photos of Bug after her swim.  Who says skinny is in?  :P  This model has got it going on!  :) Can't get enough of that nose, those lips, and that forehead! Thank you, Uncle Kris for the cute photos! God Bless, Kat

Messy McMessy strikes AGAIN!

Messy McMessy strikes AGAIN! As we were packing some of Bug's old clothes to give to her cousin, baby Lo, we discovered this.  It didn't take long for her to do this because I was in the room.  I had no idea what happened.   Parental FAIL. On Friday night we met up with some friends for dinner.  It was a "late" (7:30pm) dinner for Bug, so we prayed she would last.  She not only lasted, but hammed it up for everyone too!  Bug was able to take a half hour nap while we drove to the restaurant and waited for a table.  So I think she prepped herself for a Friday night of fun.  Here's our well-rested Bug at the restaurant. Bug and Tita Nara  Learning how to dip her bread in marinara sauce. Lessons from Tito Peter/China. Eating pasta and pizza with Tita Ingrid "Sharing" with Uncle Phil.  Learning how to "high five".  This was truly an educational dinner. Best....
